The Best Matcha Ever with Vanilla Bean Honey
A beautifully smooth everyday matcha made even better with our Vanilla Bean Honey. Naturally sweet, delicately fragrant and perfectly balanced, it brings out the earthy notes of matcha while adding a soft vanilla finish. Enjoy it hot or poured over ice for the ultimate daily ritual
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon good quality matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons hot water, not boiling
- 1 teaspoon The 3 Bees Vanilla Bean Honey
- 1 cup milk of choice, dairy or your favourite plant milk
- Ice, for an iced version
Method
For an iced matcha
- Sift the matcha into a bowl or glass to remove any lumps.
- Add the hot water and whisk until smooth and frothy.
- Stir in the Vanilla Bean Honey while the matcha is still warm so it melts through evenly.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in your milk.
- Slowly pour the matcha over the top.
- Stir and enjoy.
For a warm matcha
- Sift the matcha into a mug.
- Add the hot water and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the Vanilla Bean Honey.
- Warm your milk and froth if desired.
- Pour the milk into the mug and serve warm.
